Needle Procedure - GREAT !
I have been researching DC procedures and alternatives on the Internet for two years. Found Dr.Charles Eaton in Jupiter Florida was inteseted enough to travel toFrance and learn the needle aponevrotomy technique ( aka faciotomy). Spoke with him on the phone and continued contact when he returned from France. Went in on Monday Morning Nov,10th at 10 A.M. and was out in less than an hour. I placed my hand on a table in from of me and watched as he felt the area and selected a place where the fibrous tissue had formed a lump in the palm of my hand, He then injected a few cc of local anesthetic and then picked up a second syringe with either more anesthetic or saline in and and with a 25 gauge ( small ) needle. He worked carefully selecting the bands that were causing the contraction and worked the needle back and forth and we could hear the fibers breaking and letting the finger move. After about two minutes, he placed the hand ( palm up) and put pressure on that( ring)finger; and, we could witness additional popping sounds and the finger was extended almost fully. He then repeated the procedure on the little finger and results were almost as spectacular. The whole process took less than twenty minutes and was almost painless. His office manager and clinical assistant was as pleased as Dr Eaton and I were when she witnessed this miraculous change. Dr.Eaton put an antibiotic on the places where the needles had entered the palm and wrapped it with gauze. A few hours later, I replaced the wrap with a gauze steripad. He gave me a prescription for a pain killer in case I developed any discomfort later. I did not even need an aspirin tablet. Photos of the hand prior to and 23 hours after the procedure. See http://www.handcenter.org

NA in Florida
Three cheers for Dr. Eaton. Who else would help his patients by traveling to France for training? He has gone the extra mile for us.
