off topic, sorry.

<<Blush>>

Tommy,

Dr. Prosper Benhaim has the ears of some of the top CHS on the West Side, including The Westwood Campus. The chief Honcho of which told me personally he would attend Eaton's session.

The combined clinical data of the 4 surgeons on Eaton's team should be enough even to convince Sean :-) If the UCLA boys get on board we'll have our own LA NA Superstars. I mean, we're suposto be hip and all. What about our Image? Once we get NA rolling, we can sit back and quietly start rumors that it was actually invented here. It's LA. People will believe it <tongue firmly in cheek>.

Please forgive my off-colour remark. I Had just finished reading the Peyronies website and it does tend to deaden my sensitivities. Sorry about that.

pain

I still have pain. I had NA in 2005 but my palms hurt from the new nodes and my fingers hurt from the new bands forming there. My fingers are still straight.

pain

I have DD in both hands. My hands hurt most of the time. Most of the pain comes from the nodes in my palms. My fingers are stiff, but they do not hurt too much. Any fool that says DD in a painless disease clearly does not have it!

Not Sure What I Have

Maybe someone can help me. I never take vitamins or any type of drugs since I have always been very healthy at 52. Since I am going through my changes my doctor gave me a hormone for two months that gave me an inflamed thumb that got about 80% better after I stopped it. Four days later I got Trigger Finger on my thumb in my left hand. I at first thought I was having a stroke. During this time, I had aching pains on the side of my ankle, underneath my arches, in my arms and in my hands and in my fingers. It is now 4 weeks and I am starting to feel better. About 4 days ago I started having aching pain in my right palm from my wrist to about 1" from my pinky. I have been reading about Dupytren's Disease. I thought it was Rheum. Arth. but the test was negative. At night I wake up with stiff fingers with pain that goes away after I get up and move my fingers for about 5 minutes. I started taking some vitamins but not Glucosamine two weeks ago and thought maybe this is why.
I don't see any nodules but maybe a slight swelling of a tendon chord if I stretch the skin. I have had this aching pain in my palm for about 4 days. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Also, I have some pain on the bottom of my arches.

Thank you for your help.
Phyllis

Trigger Finger & Duputrens

About two years ago I developed trigger finger in my right hand. My hand surgeon gave me steriod shots that didn't seem to do much. Then, this year the trigger finger started to subside and I developed a node in the palm of my hand. Now I have a painful cord that seems to run up the palm of my hand into a swollen and painful finger. At first I thought it was only in the right hand but over the last two months it has popped up in my left hand as well. My hands and fingers are so painful I am contemplating surgery. I want some relif from this. I can't do chores or recreational activities very well because my ring fingers are stiff and swollen. Can anyone give me advice or guidance? I'm getting pretty down about this.

NA

Forget I asked. I'm new to this site and I just read further. NA sounds good to me.
