According to my hand therapist

My hand physical therapist went to a meeting in New York about 2 weeks ago and she said the speaker mentioned that NA was being denied FDA consideration because of all the problems with it. Has anyone else heard anything about this? Was the speaker off target? Inquiring minds need to know!

Out to Lunch

David,

Your physical therapist may be very good at his/her job, but has not a *clue* about NA. For starters, it will *never* need FDA approval (like Collagenase does) because it does not require drugs, expect for a standard numbing agent.

Secondly.....what problems? Dr. Eaton has the best US clinical statistics available with over 1,300 procedures and the main problem is that he had to recruit another CHS just to keep up with the demand for more NA. Zero nerve damage.

Are you sure he/she wasn't talking abut BioSpecifics Collagenase? Even then there aren't problems, except for lack of funding to get the FDA trials done.

Correction

Correction,

The *speaker* is clueless, not your therapist. (However, I suspect something has been lost in translation from the speaker to your post to us.)
