Itchy lump at base of ring finger
About 3 or 4 years ago I had a problem with an small itchy bump at the base of my ring finger. I have never been able to wear my wedding ring because of this and when I asked my doctor about it he didn't really say much about it. It seems to have gotten a little thicker over the years but I have just tried to ignore it but now I wonder if it is the beginning of a nodule forming? I really have no idea, I should actually ask about it again but I just thought I would see if others have experienced the start of this with it being itchy? Thanks for your help.

Yes indeed, mine started with an itchy spot too. The nodules are now 3 years old on my affected fingers, and still at times, get itchy. I just massage the itch away. The nodules also get painful too, and I massage gently to relieve that as well.
