California Practitioners?

Doe anyone know of a physician in the Fresno area who is trained or getting trained in the technique of needle aponevrotomy?

NA for DC

Unfortunately, for now, save your frequent flyer miles. Jup. Fl.......That's it. No miles? You'd rather walk to Florida than go with the Standard Operational Procedure.

NA for DC

Your choices, at this time for the NA proceedure are: Drs. In Europe, primarily Paris, Dr. William Bourland, Memphis, Tennessee, and Dr. Eaton and Associate, Jupiter, Florida.

frequent flier miles

RBH mentioned frequent flier miles. If you're with United you already know that their 25K mile level for a free r/t ticket is a joke. You'll always get a "No Flights Available" message followed by a suggestion to try the 40K mile level. While planning my February flight from LAX to Florida to see Dr. Eaton I got the results I expected while checking flights to Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Miami. However, when I checked Orlando they actually had some 25K free flights which my wife (I need someone to hold my good hand) and I grabbed in a hurry.

Go For It.

tommy:

You Go dude! The way things are going I could be on the same plane from LAX! Unfortunately, at present, I don't have anyone to hold my *good* hand. Come to think of it.......I don't *have* a good hand. That's why I'll be making the Good Dr.'s acquaintance sometime soon. Gonn'a have to put my money where my "NA Mouth" has been low these many months.

God Bless, bet of Luck to 'ya.

Hi Randy,

I think Peg is also a Californian who is going to Eatonland in February. Maybe we could gather up a few more Viking/Celts with bent fingers and charter a flight!

California

Oh how I wish there was someone in the Fresno area. I am 40 minutes from there. But, no matter how far I have to go, it is worth it to fly to Eatonland to get the NA procedure. I agree, all of us Californians should get a charter and go in mass. Cheers!!

Thanks for the report. What joint did Eaton work on, the PIP, or the one closer to the palm, or both?

Dr. Denkler

I have been doing needle aponeurotomy on selected patients for many years. I am a plastic surgeon in Larkpur (Marin County).
I prefer to do it in the distal hand if the skin is pliable and can handle the stretch from the new ablilty to extend. I have not been doing it for PIP Dupuytren's in order to avoid nerve injuries
