NA Training
Dr. Denkler,
May I suggest that you take the opportunity to train for Dupuytren’s PIP NA with Dr. Eaton? Dr. Eaton treated me for a 47 degree Dupuytren’s little finger PIP contracture. The results were spectacular. I now have a straight little finger. I was treated 10 months ago.
"In 2003, the American hand surgeon Dr. Charles Eaton visited the Paris group and brought the procedure back to the United States. Already skilled in traditional Dupuytren's surgery, Dr. Eaton applied his knowledge and experience as a hand surgeon to refine and add to this technique, referred to as the Eaton Method of Needle Aponeurotomy."

NA
Dr. Denkler,
I curious to find you options to my dupuytren condition. I have had two procedures, first in 98 by Dr. Newmeyer and then again in 02 by Dr. Sherwood. The first surgery was when I was 28 so I'm curious to find out if NA might be a good long term option.

NA
I have no problem visiting Paris or Dr. Badois. The problem is timing due to my reponsibilities teaching at UCSF and my position as Chief of the Medical Staff at our hospital. I cannot visit Paris for 12-18 months, otherwise I would be happy to go. I speak passable French and I love the food, so it is always a great trip. In terms of a previoius surgery by Dr. Newmeyer, NA is a possiblity but it would depend on the cords remaining and their relation to the nerves. This would most optimally take a physical exam of the hands. Any photos?

Thank you
Dear Dr. Denkler,
Thank you so much for considering traveling for your training in NA. It would be an honour to list your name amoungst those who have trained in Paris. I am not completely sure, but I believe training is also available in Switerland with Dr. Rappoport. He speaks english, is a wonderful doctor, and to my knowledge teaches as well. I know from experience that Yverdon Les Bains is an absolutely beautiful gentle place to visit.
You may also find Dr. G Rappoport under the PubMed that you posted earlier.
If it takes you a year to make room in your schedule - that's ok - we will all be here and waiting patiently.
Good luck and God bless,
Frances

NA Training
I agree with Frances. Waiting a year or more is second nature for DD folks. Dr. Denkler deserves high praise for offering to travel to Europe to train for NA. We need more doctors around the nation who are as open and willing to train properly for NA as Dr. Denkler.

DR. EATON
Where can I find Dr. Eaton's needle aponeurotomy treatment in the Los Angeles area? I would greatly appreciate someone helping me out with this.

NA in California
However, we have great hope that one day Dr. Denkler will train in France so he can treat DD suffers in the San Francisco Bay area.
