Collagenase in the Treatment of Dupuytrens Disease

Stony Brook New York seems to give their Phase III Trials another shot:

http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct/gui/show/NCT00260429?order=4

This time it sounds very serious:

"Study start: June 2006; Expected completion: June 2007
Last follow-up: June 2007; Data entry closure: June 2007"

Also, this time no talking about 'residual-stage only':

"Inclusion Criteria:

* diagnosis of Dupuytrens disease
* minimum 20 degree contracture(s) of the MP and/or PIP joints in any finger excluding the thumb"

Perhaps the good stuff is finally within reach...
I fold my hands and pray for Collagenase finally to make it to the market.

All of you guys living in the USA:
Please consider taking part in the trials when the recruitment starts!

Important: Skin Splitting During NA

Yawn.

These trials have been announced, postponed, cancelled, re-announced, delayed, and rescheduled again and again over the last - what is it now, 8 years?

Every year without fail, there's an announcement about how the trials are now, this time for sure, finally, absolutely , going to be completed. It's like Charlie Brown and the football.
