Just now noticed the tightness..
I know I can't get an accurate diagnosis on a problem without seeing a doc... But, I haven't had any problems with my hands and this morning I wake up and can feel something like a cord in the palm of my hand. Can Dupuytren's happen this fast? All the symptoms seem to be there.. Thanks.......

so fast?
Dupuytren won't come over night, probably you have something else. Best to go and see a doctor (if it is not gone by now).

My Experiance
dupuytren's does not come over night. however, it can progress fast. if you really never were conscious of your hands, you might not have noticed the cord developing over some time. if there is a cord it is most likely dupuytrens or palmar fibromatosis which is related to dupuytrens. i would go see an actual hand surgeon. a lot of people go see their gen pracs which is basically going to a car mechanic for a problem with one's boat.

My Experiance
My first clue about Dups was after constantly sticking my pinkie up my nose when washing my face. I knew I wasn't *that* uncoordinated so I had a look, and there were the bumps that were bending my finger. Strangely no chord to the palm. No pain. Eventually Zero to 45 degrees within 12 months, however.
Next time I saw my GP he *immediatly* diagnosed it as Dups and sent me packing to the CHS. Apparently my GP has a Boat. And now, after seeing my NA results, he informs his patients who have Dups abut NA. His words: "I *love* having something to recommend other than OS"
