out?
Hi Don,
did you want to be put under for the procedure? I have heard Dr Pess in New Jersey will put people out to perform this procedure, if they insist...

NA
Larry, I have an appointment with Dr.Pess 4/19.It is an office procedure. They did offer the method where they put you out. Anyone have suggestions as to this being necessary? Since they offer both methods,I thought I to have a local, but am not sure if it the best choice. Would the people who have NA please let me know what they did and therir comments. Thanks.

NA Procedure for DC
Don,
It is my recommendation that you have a local as this is the time tested way to go. You only feel an initial feeling like a little bee sting, then nothing unless the doc gets near a tendon or nerve. You feel a little shock when the physician gets a little too close to nerve. You let the physician know immedialy if you feel this. He, the physician knows to change directions thus avoiding nerve/tendon damage. You see, you are actually assisting the physician. You see the advantages of the local over the general. Really there is no need for a general. I just had the NA procedure for DC performed by doctor Bourland, Memphis, Tennessee a few days ago with outstanding results. Two straigh fingers in approximately 20 minutes. Personally, I would never consider general for this procedure.

Happy NA patient for DC
Well, Don,
would you have general anesthesia for a visit to the Dentist?
I didn't think so!!!!!!
But I know Dr Pess offers it to people who are extremely nervous or whatever reason, whatever their problem is. Just like dentists sometimes have to treat disabled/challenged people under heavy sedation, sometimes I guess it is the only way.

Thanks ben and Larry for your imput. I think I will stick with the local. Do any of you take supplements (Paba, E, carnitine etc).
