I recently completed the training program in Needle aponeurotomy with Drs. Lermusiaux, Lellouche et al in Paris. I am now performing the procedure in Miami.

All warm and fuzzy inside

Dear Dr. Barry,

This is wonderful new. Thank you so much for taking the time to consider NA then following through with the training.

You've just made my day. :-)

Is that 7 or 8 in the US now!

Dr. Terrence J. Barry is an orthopedic surgeon, which in my mind makes him very qualified to perform NA especially after receiving instruction form the French inventors. NA is not a difficult procedure. "Crude", "Simplistic" were the words used by Eaton. The goal of positively effecting how hour disease is treated is gaining momentum. Walt, your vision is coming true.

Dr. Barry, thank you for going to Paris. Hope you had a *great* time while you were at it.

Number to NA Physicians in the US

Doctor Terrence J. Barry is the eighth (8th) physician in the US performing the NA procedure for DC. We have come a long way, though slowly, in the past 1 1/2 to 2 years: From 0 to 8 in the USA. Let us keep the internet and personal efforts otherwise buzzing. Good progress, like General Electric, is our most important product.

On Track

Personally I don't think we're doing all that bad considering we had *Zip* NA doctors just over two years ago. More jumped on board this year than last. Eaton should blow the doors off at next year's presentation at the CHS convention. Yes, it could be 5-10 years before >50% of new patients are informed of their *ture* treatment options. I'd still consider that "Mission Accomplished" and reasonable timing considering the highly conservative nature of the beast.

But I digress. It's Dr. Barry's welcoming party at the moment:

NA in the US

To Dr. Barry:

We are keeping a list of NA doctors in the US on our web site www.dupuytren-online.info. We happily included your name on our list but have a little problem with your e-mail address. Possibly the name is missing on the address you posted in this forum?

List of US doctors?

I had NA on both hands by Dr. Badois in Paris in 2003. I was very pleased with the procedure and with him. But the DC is back and I'm looking to have NA done again. I gather there are several doctors now performing the procedure in the US, and I see sporadic mentions of some of them on the list, but is there a comprehensive list of US practitioners somewhere, with contact info? THANKS, Jerry in New Orleans

NA by Dr. Eaton

Last spring I had NA surgery on my left hand by Dr. Eaton in Jupiter, FL and all of the fingers are still straight. Thursday Nov 17 I had him straighten a finger on my right hand. The procedure was again a great success. After two days the hand is essentially back to normal. Thanks to Dr. Eaton and his staff.
