*(N.A. is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure for Dupuytrens which effectively breaks the cords which cause contraction of the fingers, thereby releasing them. The procedure has been available in France for many years with an excellent safety record and was introduced in the U.S. in 2003 by Dr. Charles Eaton. Since then a number of other doctors have begun offering N.A. to their patients as an alternative to open hand surgery.
Drs. Eaton and Kline and others have informative websites (see below). Dr. Eaton's site contains some information which is more technical, and Dr. Kline's own experience with Dupuytrens adds a personal touch.)

Needle Aponeurotomy in Australia
Hi all,
I was very interested to read all the messages about NA in Australia, especially the email by Cilin Rankin posted on 2/01/2005.
I wonder whether there is more recent information about NA treatment in Paris ( Dr Lermusiaux or others)than Jan 2005.
We live in Melbourne and would like to hear about any Australian hand surgeon who has trained to perform NA procedure in Australia. My enquiry with the College of Australian Hand Surgeons turned out negative.

NA in Australia
Hello Peter
as far as we all know on this board there is no known hand surgeon in Austalia who has had NA training.
I had NA in Paris, December 2005. What sort of information are you after?
