Hi Wolfgang

Thanks for clarifying. As you know, there’s quite a bit of discrepancy wrt stretching and splinting. I know the splint, which as you said keeps my hand flat, works for me. I also know that my own pressure on the nodules in my feet, keeps my toes from contracting.

I may try one of the other splints to see if applying pressure and hence stretching is better or worse than my current splint.

Hi jtsimpson57. I am not sure how far I would go with forceful stretching, but based on my own experience, what I would do once I feel a cord actually putting tension on a finger and starting to contract it, is wear a comfortable split glove at night to prevent fingers from curling and to have them resist the tension. If cords or nodules grow, you can also look into radiotherapy. Good luck.
