Botox and Nerve Ablation

Has anyone heard of or have any experience with Botox and or Nerve Ablation to reduce foot pain for Ledderhose suffers? I have read several articles about the vast use of Botox for many many conditions. Recently in Runners World Magazine a doctor mentioned using Botox for plantar fasciitis pain but also mentioned that it would work for Ledderhose Pain. I'm not exactly sure how this would work unless it reduces nerve transmission. I also have read about several doctors using radiofrequency nerve ablation which is most commonly used for back pain using it on nerves in the ankle or foot to reduce foot pain. Anyone know if this works?
