Re: New to this
Hi All, I am fairly new to this as well. I really wished my doctor had told me about this site, its so informative. Sadly I had surgery on Aug. 16, no knowing the options available. My doctor sent me to a surgeon who apparently had some experience with Ledderhose. He is a Cosmetic surgeon. I had BOTH feet done in August. I am still experiencing some pain, pulling at the ends where the incisions were made, and general lumpiness surrounding the incision sites.
Does anyone know if there is a capable Radio therapy person in Winnipeg, Manitoba? I've done some searching - to no avail.
If I had known how bad the surgery was, I wouldn't have gone for it. I'm just afraid now, that the lumpiness I'm feeling is more Ledderhose....hopefully it is scar tissue that will go away. I really didn't know what to expect!
