Any experiences with Dr. Prabhakar Tripuraneni?

Does anybody have any experience with Dr. Prabhakar Tripuraneni in CA for radiation therapy?
Thanks!

Re: Any experiences with Dr. Prabhakar Tripuraneni?

I just finished my first round of treatments with Dr. Tripuraneni last week. I first saw him in the middle of January for the Dupuytren and Ledderhose in my left hand and left foot. He also determined that both my right hand and right foot are affected.

He treated my left hand and left foot at the start of February, and I have already scheduled treatment of my right hand and foot at the start of May.

I have already noticed a difference in my left hand, in that I don't have quite as much pulling when typing. Dr. Tripuraneni also indicated that the nodes in both my hand and foot had started to flatten some after the first 5 days of treatment.

Dr. Tripuraneni seems to be very knowlegable about Dupuytren and Ledderhose, and the staff that I dealt with was all very friendly and helpful.

Please let me know if there is anything more specific that you would like answered.

Thanks,
Gweneth

Thanks so much for your response!
I am still thinking about going, but have many unanswered questions. Since I would be coming from out-of-state, I would like to estimate how long I would need to be there, how long treatments take, etc. I know you are not the Dr. but I wondering what your regimen is.
I don't have dupuytrens as you do, but I do have knuckle pads that hurt as well as ledderhose. How are you coming along now?

Re: Any experiences with Dr. Prabhakar Tripuraneni?

I also am out of state, I live in Northern Nevada. During the initial consult, the doctor determines how many treatments will be needed. In my case, he decided that I needed 10 treatements. They scheduled my planning session on a Monday morning, and I had the first treatment that same Monday afternoon. So I was there for just short of 2 weeks. The clinic can provide you with a list of hotels in the area that offer a Scripps rate.

I also have some knuckle pads, but did not ask the doctor about treating them yet, so I don't know if the radiation is effective on them.

I am still continuing to notice small improvements in both my treated hand and foot.
