Ledderhose shockwave or radiation therapy?

Hello, I recently got my foot in Ledderhose as diagnosis.

Information about treatments internet dizzy me, a lot of benefits but just as many disadvantages. From experience of other patients I hope to get advice or experiences shockwave and / or radiation therapy. Is Shockwave innocent and helps it me or is it just nice euros for the caregiver?

My experience is that everyday waring shoes with solid (VC) shoe soles helps shrinking the Ledderhose bump under my foot. At the end of the day it is almost gone. During sleep the bump swells again. Shoes, slippers (eaven waering birckenstoks dos not help) without the special soles give pain when walking. How to realease pressure of the bump without wearing the vc soles?

Thank you in advance for sharing info.

Re: Ledderhose shockwave or radiation therapy?

I have found that shockwave therapy helped with the pain and softened the nodule. I've been doing it about every 10 days for a few months. It hasn't gone away, but it is not as painful to walk on.
