Orthodics

Just wanted to know what your take on Orthodics is??
I have custom made - cost-an-arm-and-a-leg type orthodics and I fend they really hurt my feet, mainly because I have flat feet and the arch support is pushing up the modules inside my feet.

I have fat feet and shoes are hard to find but I have a pair that fits well and without the orthodics actually lets me walk for longer without blinding pain.

What do you think?

Re: Orthodics

A podiatrist said NO orthodics for my shoes. I have two nodules on the arch of both feet. However, I now wear New Balance shoes with the roller bar for stability with a footbed to support my high archs. The shoes and footbeds were bought at a New Balance store in Sarasota. The staff are trained. Back in in Canada, the new balance staff are NOT trained so unfortunately, I had been wearing the wrong shoes.
I am also beginning Graston on both hands and my right foot.
