It is now 21 months since I completed RT treatment and as far as I am concerned I am very happy with the results. Nodules and itching have almost completely gone. Cords remain but contracture seems to have stopped or slowed.

I have just seen the oncolgist, Dr A Lamont, at Essex County Hospital, Colchester. He tells me that so far he has only treated me and one other person for DC, and said he was happy for me to use his name on this web site although he was not looking for work and would like to reseve the treatment for selected local people only.
