Collaganase injection treatment
I first developed Dupuytrens contracture in the early ninety's and have undergone numerous open surgery operations to the fingers on both my hands. After surgery it took some 6 weeks or more, of visits to the hospital to have wound dressed, stitches removed and physio therapy to regain the full use of my hand again.
I am currently undergoing Collaganase injection treatment trials in U.K. Received first injection, first week in March.08 and the consultant successfully snapped the cord. I had a splint fitted to wear during the night and a diagram of some finger excercises I need to carry out at home. I had full use of my hand and the finger straightened within 8 days of the injection. Just over a month later, I have just had another injection & cord snapped to a finger on my other hand which also seems at this time to be a success. I therefor personally feel that the Collaganase injection treatment is far better which much quiker and bteer results than the open surgery method, only drawback is the pain I experierenced when the cord was snapped without any kind of anescetic or perhaps I'm just a wimp!!!!!
" Meanwhile back in Gotham City Robin is fighting crime alone, while Batman rests for a few days to recover from second injection"
