Radiotherapy for early DC - availability in SW France

Help! I am from the Uk bu resident in SWFrance - on a boat - single-handed!
i have just been diagnosed with early Dupuytrens - nodule swtage - no c`ontraction, which i hav e had for about 5 months.
I consulted a doctor who said leav e it for about 2 years then have an op! having read the great info on this site - it seems that if i could find radiotherapy treatment, it might just be the answer to my prayers. If DC advances in both hands, my lifestle is ruined!
Anyone with any contacts/cliniques offering radiotherapy around the Toulouse area - please post a reply! Many thanks

Re: Radiotherapy for early DC - availability in SW France

I am in the same boat! (Forgive the pun) I have early DD (8 months) and want radiation therapy.
The German clinics seem the best bet and are listed on this site under 'radiation therapy' on the left hand brown menu.
I emailed one of them but have been told by the doctor that you need to show your Dupuytren's is in the progressive stage. So you need to measure the nodes and any cords etc. and see if these get larger over 3 months and 6 months. If they do it means it's active and you can book the radiation therapy as I understand it.
Best wishes and good luck!
Claire
