Re: Personal experience

Thanks for the suggestion, Wach. My splint actually is very comfortable---it's me. I've always had sleep issues. I had a completely contracted into my palm pinky, which was opened up partially by NA and partially by surgery on the PIP of that finger. Palm is completely flat...pinky (which also had one tendon removed) is more than halfway open now---with splinting and exercise (pulling for extension...flexion is almost 100%) I suspect I'm where I can get to, and would love nothing more than to start weaning from the splint.

    Re: Personal experience

A few weeks ago, to help with a shoulder/arm injury, I increased my daily intake of Reishi mushroom powder, from about two grams to about ten grams. Coincidentally, I have noticed that the improvement in my Dupuytrens and Garrods has been significant - and the improvement was commented upon, unprompted, by my massage therapist. I shall continue at the higher rate of intake, and let you know if the improvement continues. Ian
