Re: Xiaflex follow up research

Thanks for responding, I will research this more. My left little and middle finger are affected and my right little finger is affected I had surgery on both hands with in weeks before surgery the little fingers were stuck touching my palm and could not straighten out at all being in construction it became a real problem . I had the surgery done in Canada by a surgeon from south africa I think he did a fine job but he said he could straighten them out completely, I moved to Hawaii because the cold hurt them so much and have seen a surgeon here but they said they don't think they can make better, possibly one with skin grafs,I think they are gradually getting worst again and would be willing to try something/anything to prolong them before I guess ultimately they said to amputate, I think I ll wait as long as I can. Thanks again and I will start researching this more.

Re: Xiaflex follow up research

Winterwave,
Have you researched Radiation therapy (RT) by going to the menu on the left column of this page? If it is getting worse that probably means that it is active. If it is active, RT can stop the progression. It's worth researching and considering.
