Yes Dude, there is Doctor Tripurninini, (not sure I spelled it right) at La Jolla, Ca Scripps Medical Center. He is head of oncology raditation there and treats dupuytrens without hesitation.

That's great that you are organizing this. Dr. Kline doesn't actually do the radiation but he refers patients to Dr. Tonya Kuhn at Mountain States Tumor Institute (part of the St. Luke's system).

It is very interesting to me that you are recieving treatment at U of M. I am currently going to Scripps in LaJolla, CA, but I live in Ann Arbor in the summer months and attempted to recieve radiation there. They wouldn't hear of it, in fact they seemed annoyed when I persisted somewhat. They sent me to physical therapy and told me to come back when I needed the surgery. I assumed being a teaching college they would be more open minded and for the first time I felt let down by this fine hospital. This happened just last spring. Do you mind sharing the name of your doctor?

I do not remember being told about any reluctance about the site. My wife was there also and she doesn't remember this either. I would certainly have respected their wishes if that is so. I feel somewhat sad since it was on this site that I received my own education about this possibility of treatment early stage after visiting the hand specialist who told me that there was no other treatment. I do understand why they might want to go slowly. In my case, at 69 years old and the nodules growing rather rapidly from only 6 months ago, I am elated to try this no matter what the outcome, especially since the risk is minimal and the alternative could mean years of physical therapy and retraining for a classical guitarist. (my years account has been dwindling lately)
