So Cal Docs
My right baby finger is now bad enough that I can't shake hands or easily get my hand in my pocket. Living in Ventura, I am not aware of a NA specialist close by but I have read the messages regarding the UCLA doctor. There is another doctor down in the Long Beach area. Since it has been awhile since updated postings, I am wondering if there is any new information regarding Dr. Benhaim at UCLA or anything on the Long Beach practice. Would others still recommend making the trip up to Larkspur. Any input would be appreciated.

Re: So Cal Docs
About 3 years ago when I was researching DC, Dr. Benhaim at UCLA was just starting to do NA and had REPORTEDLY been somewhat less comfortable performing the procedure on the PIP joint (my problem) than more experienced NA practitioners such as Drs. Eaton/Pess/Denkler. Consequently, I chose to travel from LA to SF (Larkspur) to have my NA performed by Dr. Denkler (with excellent results). At this point in time, Dr. Benhaim may be quite comfortable and experienced with more difficult/complex situations (e.g. PIP, etc.).
