Radiotherapy repeatable?
Has anyone had more than the first 2 rounds of radiotherapy? I completed the usual treatment about 18 months ago. Early results were slow but positive. I recently started trying some orthotics and have seen enlargement of my lumps as well as new lumps forming. Very painful burning sensations has returned. Wondering if I should seek another radiotherapy treatment. When I asked my doctor in Fl he did not know if the treatment could be repeated. I am living in North Carolina now!

Re: Radiotherapy repeatable?
This has been discussed on here before several times. See as one example http://www.dupuytren-online.info/Forum_E...ted-0_1674.html.
I don't know of anyone who has actually had a third round of treatment. I was in a similar position to you in summer with a hand, and ProfS in Germany offered to re-treat (5x3Gy only) one small area of my previously treated left hand. I decided not to have it done, and in fact the symptoms causing concern has quieted down.

Re: Radiotherapy repeatable?
Hello rfcousins
I am wodering who in Florida treated you?
The oncologist in Jacksonville Florida will treat a 3rd time waiting 6 months after round 2. The oncologist in NC will do this after 12 months out from round 2.
