About sleep brace and stretching

I hope there is a study involving stretching and bracing since this seems obvious. I am worried it might be contraindicated. When I stretch a soreness develops in the area where I expect the progression of the cord to eventually go to. Any insight in this area?

I don't think stretching helps Dupuytren's. The stretching might help the surrounding tissues but I doubt that it slows down the cell formation of Dupuytren's. Stretching might have a temporary positive effect, but long term if the cells are forming they will overcome the positive effects of stretching.

Dr. Eaton always cautioned against stretching and hyperflexion. He recommended placing a dowel on a table , putting your hand flat against it palm side down and then massaging hard that way and running your nodules over it. Sorry I can't be more articulate with a description. I know there is a link to the technique somewhere on his old website and it has been posted on this forum.
