I'm 60 and have fairly minor Dupuytren's, more severe on left hand. I also have had the unusual problem of having my left ear canal close up to the point where a cotton swab wouldn't fit in, and it began affecting hearing. I had surgery to open it. Inner ear changes seem to be continuing: when I turn my head to the left I now hear pops inside my ear, and my eustachian tube sometimes pops open. I'm just wondering, could the ear problems be another manifestation of the Dupuytren's genetic defect?

Does anyone else here have both Dupuytren's and collapsing ear canal problems?
