Cold feeling

Hi. I'm new to this forum, just found it while trying to find out if the symptom I'm getting is related to the Dupuytren's or not. I'm a 50-something male and have had a DC on one hand for many years (probably something like 20 years). It doesn't bother me much and hasn't started pulling the finger(s) in (yet). The skin over it has become increasingly puckered over the last few years to the extent that it almost looks like there's a little hole in my palm. In the last few months, I've noticed that the knuckle and finger feel cold on the back of my hand. It's not painful, just uncomfortable. But it does seem to be increasing to the point where it feels cold most of the time. Have others experienced this as a symptom of Dupuytren's? I can't see any reference to it online.

Thanks

Re: Cold feeling

Do you have coldness only on the pads, or is it the whole hand? My entire hand with DD feels colder quite often, not where the nodule or cord is.

Re: Cold feeling

The coldness is on the knuckle on the other side of my hand, not in my palm. it's the knuckle directly on the other side of my
Dupuytren's contracture and extends slightly up the finger.

Re: Cold feeling

Is there any color change when you feel the coldness? If so this could be related to problem called Raynaud's Syndrome.
Raynuad's is sometimes associated with soft tissue diseases such as scleroderma.
You might want to have a dermatologist who specializes in soft tissue disease or a rheumatologist examine the blood vessels under your nail beds for abnormalities.

Re: Cold feeling

No visible change. The cold feeling is quite mild, though it seems to be increasing over time. It just feels like there's a cold breeze on the back of my hand. If I knew it wouldn't get worse or lead to anything else I wouldn't be worried, but I wanted to see if others had experienced it.
