DMSO and iodine

Hi guys,

Hoping to apply DMSO and Potassium Iodide topically to a small nodule in my hand. Has anyone had any success with this please? I am unable to find the supersaturated potassium iodide (SSKI) in NZ. Would standard liquid potassium iodide suffice?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

If you search the forum you will find several people have tried this. Although people initially report that they feel it helps, it's not clear what that means, and sadly none have reported back with success, success being shrinking of nodules or straightening of contracture. Remember for mild cases progression is slow and can appear to go dormant anyway. There is one case of someone reporting a thyroid problem because of the absorption of the iodide into the bloodstream, so be careful with this aspect of your health. Also be careful handling DMSO and other aspects of your health, and with your wallet.

Thanks for the reply. I will keep on investigating.
