Dupuytren in foot solved, by accident!
I wanted to share with those of you that might stubble across this post my wonderful luck. I have suffered from Dupuytren's in my left foot (from what I understand the rarest form) while many of relatives on my mother's side of my family suffer at various locations. It just so happens that I suffer from psoriasis of the scalp also. About a year ago my doctor prescribed Olux for my scalp which worked miracles on my head. It was truly a life changing medicine for me as my scalp condition was so sever it disrupted my social life. Long story short I also have a problem with my toes having psoriasis also. One day just for the hell of it I put Olux on my Dupuytren's knot and the next day the pain was completely gone. So I tried a few more times and now my knot is almost completely gone and I haven't had pain since. I even called the makers of Olux and told them. Of course they covered their @#$ and told me that is was an off label use, regardless Olux changed my life twice!!! Yea for Olux.
For those wondering my Dupuytrens presented itself about 5-7 years before my psoriasis. My psoriasis seems to come from my father as he also has this and of course my Dupuytren's came from mother as I understand it always does.
Hope this helps someone.
PS, not sure if this will help hands or not as I am lucky not to have it there.
