Essen clinic email of Seegenschmiedt
In addition to the Hamburg clinic you can see Prof. Seegenschmiedt also in Essen and you can be treated there as well. The email address of the Essen clinic is
praxis@radiologie-am-stern.de (they claim they are responding English mails)
Phone number for making appointments: 0049 / 201 799 869 15
Note that the first consultation must be on a Saturday (during the week Prof. S is in Hamburg). The Essen clinic is a cooperation of Prof. S. with Dr. Yilmam who will probably be in charge of the radiotherapy during the week.

Hi Linda. 20 years is an extremely early onset of the disease and while for us mostly older people the risks of radiation treatment of the hands are supposed to be negligible, at that young age doctors may be hesitant. The site information about radiation therapy is under that subject at the end under the "Treatment" menu item, or at http://www.dupuytren-online.info/radiation_therapy.html. Perhaps describe what stage the nodules or cords are in at the moment and where you live and forum members can take it from there with more specific advice.
