Active Duty Folks with DC

Has anyone out there been discharged from the service because of DC or known someone who has?

Military and DC

I'm no longer on active duty, but was for 6 years in USMC. I never saw it, but retirement age is about 40 for enlisted personel--so it generally wouldn't present in a severe fashion by that time....

That's my problem. I'm in the military with DC and they are going to do a medical board on me - probably within six months.

How advanced is it? If it doesn't interfere w/ duty, they shouldn't be "boarding" you for it. Is it that advanced? I've seen people w/ more serious conditions that could pass a med board.

I'm a computer operator and the DC affects my work. Long hours on the keyboard brings on hand spasms in my case. A recent problem in the last couple of months is my hands becoming very cold and I live in Galveston, Texas.

Dear Hanus,

How did things turn out for you? Were you discharged?
