Dave, I did see a reference in one paper that DC rates were higher in those with AIDS or other immune system disorders. That could skew the statistics some looking at gay vs. straight, but only for that reason. Im my opinion, the causes are heredity, trauma, drinking/smoking, drugs (glucosamine, Vit C, beta blockers), diet in about that order.

Danny, you say you have never heard of gay men with DD, check out D. Beason just below in this category. Pablo is probably right. No gay bashing was ever intended, maybe a bit of ill received humor. Can't we joke with you as much as we might with anyone else? I would call that acceptance were I gay. We are all in this boat, so let's cheer each other on and keep rowing.
