Shoulder, etc.

I just wanted to say that my grandmother had "a touch of this" but was never diagnosed. My father was and delayed surgery until his ring finger and little finger were drawn to his palm (he couldn't hold a golf club anymore). His surgery was a great success! When it gets bad enough find a good surgeon and go for it. It worked for him and I know I will do the same when I reach that stage. I am a 46 yr old female and was diagnosed about a year ago. I have noticed my hands slowly developing "pulls and knots", I have had two knuckle pads removed and have developed another and am seeing the doctor tomorrow, and am experiencing left shoulder pain, back pain, and palm pain in the hand without the first stages of the disease. I also have it bad in both feet. That is were I experience a lot of pain. I think I can live with most of this but my feet are the worst.

Frozen Shoulder

The website www.dupuytrens-a-new-theory.com which relates insulin with DC. A click to the American Diabetes Association will show you that Frozen shoulder is related to diabetes...if this fellows theory regarding DC is correct...then Frozen Shoulder has now connect to DC via insulin.
