    I was diagnosed with DC in both hands, approximately 2 years ago. Mine developed between the thumb and forefinger. My right hand progressed much more quickly, and during that time, had severe itching in the palm. I had surgery in April of 2002, (Right hand only) and I am beginning to experience the itching sensation again, and am concerned that the DC is beginning to progress again. Has anyone experienced the same?

    being a veteran of some 9 years with DC i can say without any doubt that this is related to the on going saga of DC. tomorrow 24/06/04 i go in for my forth op in seven years on right hand at the age of 42. the itching is a constant baine and i find good moisturiser is a good help hope this helps your condition...

    - is to obstain from masterbation(pleasureing one-self) and to rub liberal amounts of ALOVERA juice on it.

    I don't appreciate the response, although I do have a sense of humor, but not where Dupuytren's is a concern.

    I am sorry to report that an itchy palm is due to a building up of collagen, which may exacerbate the condition.

    Please: DO NOT USE ALOE VERA or any other detrimental products that produce collagen.

    Hi Jerry. Yes, I go through bouts of severe itching. It is inside so no amount of lotion, etc would help. I have always thought it was when the DD was active - either healing or worsening. Hate those people who post like that too. Get a life whoever you are.

    my hands has been itching like hell for the past few days specially during night and wehn i wake up. today after my shower it itched so much that i can see white white thing under the skin palm. my feet were itching too but it stopeed.

    Itchy palm may be caused by excessive masterbation. Perhaps you should back off a little. Give it a try anyway. Might work.
