Check the list

...exposure to Dr. Badois...???? What does that mean? I personally feel comfortable going only to doctors who have had proper training in NA and appear on the list of qualified doctors that are on the French Forum.

AP for DC: Dr. Bourland

Great news for me. I'm just outside Nashville. Thanks for posting.

NA

This is wonderful news. I emailed Dr. Bourland thanking him for caring enough about his patients to train in this procedure. Now if we can get a hand doctor in California to do NA.

It going to happen

Great News. Let's all thank Dr. Bourland: bourland@orthomemphis.com

Unfortunately it still seems to be beyond the imagination of nearly all hand surgeons that their patient(s) might be aware of something significant in their field that they are not. I got that same knee-jerk reaction from a top Los Angeles Doc. when I used the word "needle". "That's been tried for years. Too dangerous." This from a guy who, despite his best effort, has left me with a loss of 20% feeling in my pinkie and a hand far from healed after 11 months. What's wrong with this picture?

How do I, a layman who hadn't even heard of Dups 16 months ago, know something my now ex-doctor insists on remaining oblivious to? ANSWER: The Internet. Just ten years ago the US spread of NA would not have been possible. Lets' continue to use the power given us and continue to effect this badly need change. It going to happen! I doubt it can be stopped now. The only question remaining is how quickly.

Sorry but....

Hi E Wix,

...observing is not the same as training. The doctor I have seen for NA is on the list of practitioners and I will continue to *only* see doctors who are on that list.

AP vs NA

I think if one is going to push for AP as a procedure for treating DC one must be careful to not confuse it with NA - that would be very unfair to those of us who have spent *years* on this forum and others shouting the wonders of NA.

Responding to anons

My dear E.Wix,

Nice deflection away from the importance of my comment.

So here it is again....observing is not the same as training. I will *not* see anyone who claims to perform NA that is not listed on the French Forum.
