Shoulder and tingling in hand

I have had eight surgeries on both the Lt. and Rt. hands. Have an appointment with Dr.Eaton in November. I'm having trouble right now with shoulder pains and tingling in the Lt.fingers (like pins and needles). Does anybody else have shoulder pains, could this be due to the Dupuytrens.

Frozen, shoulder dupuytren~sq~s

Margaret,

my name is Goerge and I had a really bad frozen left shoulder that was excruciatingly painful and as I was getting over the should, my dupuytren's flared up in the same left hand. I have often wondered if there was a connection.

sholder pain

I had frozed sholder a year and a half ago in left sholder, then in January of this year in the right sholder, my middle finger started swelling at the same time and was just diagnosed with dupuytren's. I think there is a link to the two.

Shoulder Pain

And yet another of us with Dups and Frozen Shoulder, me. I felt that my lack of use of my left arm for much of anything for six months after a traumatic surgery contributed to the FS on that arm. I was so busy with the pain and doing the exercises I didn't notice the problem until it was too late. FS is apparently a build up of scar tissue in the joint. The relationship to Dups should be obvious. I'm not sure which is more painful, the hand therapy or Nurse Rachet trying to bend your arm off with FS.

Shoulder Pain

I have had DC for 20 years and had a frozen shoulder about the time it started.

fs

Another person with FS and Dupuytrens. Glad to read this link! .

Had two previous surgeries for Dupuytrens - one on each pinky - no complications. Last July I had extensive surgery in my LH for dup. In January,I was diagnosed with FS in my left shoulder.

For me, it's the most painful injury I've ever had. Three months of pysical therapay..and the pain is excruciating...(I'm finally getting motion back...)After reading your enteries I feel better knowing I'm not crazy - I do believe there's a connection between the two.

Just this week I woke up with my right pinky bent...dup is back...but I;m going to check out Eaton.

D.C. and Frozen Shoulder

Here's another.
I had a F.S. in about 1980 and had a Cortisone shot (really a couple of them) which has greatly helped. That was also about the same year that I was diagnosed with D.C. When Dr. Eaton did N.A. on my hands in Nov., he asked if I had ever had F.S. and when I said 'yes', he said that he was pretty sure that there is a connection between D.C. and F.S. This may be a tiny piece of the puzzle.
Good luck.

Dup and shoulder pain

Yes, I've recently had frozen shoulder too. A cortisone injection and physical therapy got me through it and back to 95% of where I was before. Don't sit and suffer, go to a physical therapist, they know exactly what it is and how to handle it. Unlike DC, it is treatable.

Anybody with shoulder pains

I have frozen shoulder and recently went through manipulation under mild anesthesia. My shoulder is better, but I am going to a physical therapist, and the therapy is like extreme torture for 15 minutes. I have decided it is not worth it. Anyone had similar experiences?
