This sounds like a great result. Congratulations. Keep us posted.
Without wishing to sound ungrateful, why are some people talking about what is going on in the U.S./Canada under this post entitled "UK Acceptance of NA"?

Hi Sara, Sorry, it is probably my fault as I posted to you and to Frances and wished her well with her attempts to send someone from Canada to Paris for training.

You have nothing to apologise for Marjorie! You are doing a great job. And I suppose we're all in this together. I just hope we get where we want to be sooner rather than later.
Have a nice weekend.

thanks
Dear Marjorie This is my thank you for the help and advice you gave me. Just like you I was given the usual consultant run around (yes you have got Dupuytren's early stages, come back and see me in four years time). Having found this site, and learnt a lot, I posted a letter asking for help. Through you I found the list of doctors in Paris, and chose Dr. L. Last month I went to Paris. The results were all that I had hoped for. Thank you again, Rita

Dear Rita, I am so pleased that everything has worked out for you. Hopefully you will not need further treatment for a few years. But if you do, so what, NA is so easy and painfree, except for the injections of course. Keep well, marjorie

This info also on another post.
Well folks, that's another hurdle jumped and failed. The Health Commission turned me down for payment of my NA treatment. Now I have approached the Health Ombudsman who are deciding if they will take up my case. I have given up trying to get the Government to listen and get someone trained to do NA in the UK. Instead I have approached the Opposition and have had a much better response. "Thank you so much for writing to David Cameron. He is most grateful to you for your comments on needle aponeurotomy. We are keeping a careful eye on issues relating to the NHS services and this example is very useful. I have ensured that your letter has been drawn to the attention of our Shadow health team so that they are aware of the issue concerning 'needle aponeurotomy' Thank you again for writing and for drawing our attention to this important issue" Well, we will see where that gets us. Marjorie
