Hi Everyone,
Just thought I would let you all know I had my surgery yesterday. Everything seemed to go well. My Dr said I had 6 nodules in the left foot, all total was about 3 inches long and they were about an inch wide. He told my family that nodules were about the largest he had seen in the last 5 years. For now I am in a cast for at least 3 weeks I go back for my first follow up appointment on Aug 2, The surgery went fairly quickly and so far I am not having too much pain. Now I guess I just have to wait and see if the outcome is as good as I hope it will be. He had said he was removing the entire band to avoid reoccurence. I will keep you all posted as time goes on and let you know if I have continued success. I need to have the right foot done as well so how this turns out will determine if I go ahead with the other foot later down the road. Wish me luck for continued success. I will keep you updated as to the progression.
