Re: New Procedure/Looks Promising!

This sounds like good news Jeanie? I really hope this is the answer for you. How long is it said to take until you know if its a success. Reading this his great to see what works for people.

Hope the swelling goes down soon and your back on your feet lump free.

I'm also interested to hear the results of your treatment. I've had RT and acupuncture but no real results yet unfortunately.

Re: New Procedure/Looks Promising!

Today I saw the Radiologist that did my Tenex procedure. The hematoma that formed has healed, but the fibroma is there and significantly larger than before. There are certainly success stories out there for this procedure, but I'm wondering if they are for much smaller fibromas and of course no treatment works for everyone. I wish I could have reported back better news. I am now deciding between radiation therapy or hyaluronidase injections.

Re: New Procedure/Looks Promising!

This reminds me of my experimental treatment. They inserted my plasma into the tumors. I could not tell for the first few days, but after the swelling it had gotten bigger. I go back in two weeks and if it has not healed, surgery it is. No more options for me.

Re: New Procedure/Looks Promising!

I tried Tenex for two fibromas and it just led to more scar tissue in my foot. Worse off than when I started. Wish I could say something more positive. I know I'm not alone in it backfiring like this since I've read some other reports online. Not sure if I'm in the minority, but Tenex, although less invasive, is still a form of surgery. And surgical interventions for plantar fibroma have a high rate of causing more scar tissue recurrence.
