still searching for treatment

read blogs from everyone. I've had two surgeries one on left and one on right foot. pain is still very high. RT not available in atlantic canada ... ortho doc that I am seeing things that I may benefit from hormone treatment. The doctors that have been referred my case are passing me on. Basically, if your not dying your last on the list. Heard that Xiaflex injection may be available in the USA. I'm trying to make arrangements to try that. don't really want any more surgeries. but pain is increasing... :O(( Day to day.... now I have it in my hands. Doc recommended that I go for some rehab physio... another roadblock... 6-12 month wait. What sucess stories are out there? Has anyone's life gotten better with a treatment?

Re: still searching for treatment

Welcome JoelC

A UK patient is recovering quite well after having RT for painful Ledderhose. Might be worth travelling to the US or elsewhere.

Also cryosurgery seems to be an option in NA, see for example this interview by with one of the practitioners http://ledderhose.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07...ryosurgery.html

Best wishes

Re: still searching for treatment

The above blog that was referred to it mine...

As was said I went from having a very painful lump and walking with a stick and heavy limp to being ok walking without a stick some of the time and hardly any limp, I can even play badminton for short period of time and it is not normally the lump that starts hurting but the weakened foot and ankle from having used the stick.

Feel free to ask any questions either directly to me or anyone on here, they are all great.
