Re: Plantar fibromatosis and plantar facisitis

Hi Lisa,

You may want to look into radiotherapy as it has been shown to work for both conditions.

Regards,

Richard

Re: Plantar fibromatosis and plantar facisitis

Hi I had Rt in 2007 in Germany by Prof. Seegenschmiedt. Diagnosed with Ledderhose in 2000 and prescribed orthordics made by a podiatrist. After the second round of Rt the Prof. suggested it was not necessary to continue to wear the orthordics. When purchasing shoes I look to buy lace up shoes with good innersoles which reduce any impact.
I would recommend the treatment.

Re: Plantar fibromatosis and plantar facisitis

I had a painful lump about the size of an olive in my arch. I had RT two years ago and it's barely there and painless now.
