questions on cords

Hi guys,

2 hand surgeons diagnosed me with bilateral multiple finger dupuytren and another one told me I dont have dupuytren but probably have only rhumatology disorder that will resume in a few months with a new arthritis medication I just started (methotrexate). I have what appears to be very visible ''cords'' and some small lumps. 2 doctors say they are dupuytren cords, and the other says they are my tendons and normal hand structures that we see because my hands are very skinny (loss of muscle and fat due to cortisone)

here is my question: at the early stage, are cords adherent to the skin?

I can lift my skin and squeeze it a bit over the ''tendon''cords...

thank you so much for helping me,

Jasmine

Re: questions on cords

thx I looked at the video, but its still unclear to me. whether those cords I have are my tendons or DD cords. I guess I should post a picture of my hands in the thread.... I 'll see what I can do in the next few days.

In the video, the cords we see seems to be stuck (glued, adherent) underneath the skin. That is not my case, I can move my skin over it...
