R/T - Time Interval Between Treatments
Does anyone have any documentation, or where it can be downloaded, about the number of weeks interval between R/T treatments may be the best, or what the latest thoughts are on this.
My Doctor wants to see it.
One of the points I would like answered for myself as well is--- what's better in general: the longer the number of weeks (say 10 to 12 for instance), the more the skin can recover from radiation from the first treatment (and that's better),----is that right?
OR the flipside is that the sooner you get the 2nd R/T treatment (within the seemingly minimum accepted range that is, say 6 to 8 weeks), the less chance of you have of the bad cells multiplying because you will be hitting them faster/quicker: Is that right?
Note: are these the right questions to pose? Or am I not asking the right questions about this?

Re: R/T - Time Interval Between Treatments
I think you are making a bigger deal out of this than necessary. There are no "exact" answers to many of your questions. It is a safe procedure and outcomes vary. It is as simple as that. Most likely you won't even realize that anything happened. Go for the 10-12 week interval.
