Verapamil did not rate highly as a treatment on the patient survey. https://www.dupuytren-online.info/patient_survey.html
It is apparently quite expensive, needs to be applied 9 months or more (anecdotally), you have to find a doctor willing to prescribe off-label and a pharmacist willing and able to compound the drug into a cream or gel that will penetrate. We have a few older threads discussing the use of Verapamil.
Since getting Covid last year I am now taking Verapamil orally! It does not appear to affect my hands in any way.
